The New Zealand Open Charitable Trust is committed to making a meaningful impact in the communities of the region connected to the New Zealand Open and supporting the development of golf across Aotearoa. Through this funding support, we aim to strengthen our host region, promote participation and well-being, and create opportunities through education and sport.

We invite applications from organisations and initiatives that align with the Trust’s purpose, which include:

• Environmental and community well-being in the tournament’s host region

• Access to golf for youth and people with disabilities

• Promotion of physical and mental well-being through sport

• Educational and development opportunities related to golf and sport with a charitable purpose

If your project supports one or more of these areas, we welcome your application. Please complete the online Funding Application Form below with as much detail as possible.

Please Note: Only applications via the online Funding Application form will be accepted. The Funding Application Form needs to be completed in one session. It cannot be saved and returned to for completion. Please have a read of the Application Notes, which set out each section to be completed on this form. 

Our Trustees review applications on a regular basis and will be in touch following their assessment.
