Registrations for the Golf New Zealand Futures Festival and the Futures Ambrose Open are now closed.

Golf New Zealand is excited to provide two opportunities for young people to experience Futures at the New Zealand Open!

Futures Festival – an opportunity for young people of all ages and abilities to give golf a go through fun challenges and activities.
Futures Ambrose Open – an experience for 12-18 year olds with a handicap of 25 and under for boys and 35 and under for girls to play on the New Zealand Open course.

After a fun filled morning of golf, catch all the excitement of the final round of the New Zealand Open and see who will be crowned champion at the end of the days play. See below for event details and registration.

Futures Festival of Golf Details

Open to those 18 years and under, young people will have opportunities to learn new skills, play games, and participate in many fun challenges with coaches available to provide support and guidance. Embrace the excitement, bring the whole family, and enjoy a day filled with fun and festivities.

There are only 200 spots available so don’t miss out – register below!

Parents/caregivers are not required to register but are encouraged to join in the fun!

Timings:

9:30 am – Check-in opens for Festival attendees (Hole 2 tee – Remarkables course)
10:00 am – Welcome & briefing
10:10 – 12:00pm – Festival fun!
12:00 pm – Prizes and event wrap up
12:30 pm – Event concludes

Futures Ambrose Open Details

Open to those 12-18 years with a handicap of 25 and under for boys and 35 and under for girls. Young people will have the opportunity to play 6 holes on the New Zealand Open course! Players will participate in a fun 4-person Ambrose format, and an additional longest drive challenge hole. With plenty of prizes, giveaways, and fun to be had, you don’t want to miss out – register below!

Participants are to register individually and, if applicable, identify the players they wish to team up with. All other players will be grouped with others similar in age. Please note that all registrations will join the waitlist. You will then receive an email informing you if your spot has been confirmed, along with further event information.

Timings:

9:00 am – Ambrose players check in at the Remarkables Course Hole 2 tee.
9:15 – 9:30 am – Teams tee off
12:00 pm – Prizes and event wrap up
12:30 pm – Event concludes
