In 2009 Y.E Yang created history by becoming the first Asian male golfer to win a major championship by staring down and defeating Tiger Woods at the PGA Championship.

Yang has won on the USPGA, European, Asian and Japan Tours and he showed by winning the significant Crowns Tournament in Japan his game is still in very good shape despite his age.

No stranger to New Zealand, Yang spent three years in the country, prior to turning professional, developing his craft and his impact on Asian golf since, as a result of his international success, has been massive.
