Shiv Kapur is an Indian professional golfer who has been a fixture on the Asian and European circuits for two decades. After winning the individual gold medal at the 2002 Asian Games, a defining moment in Indian amateur golf, he turned professional in 2004. He made an immediate impact by winning the season-ending 2005 Volvo Masters of Asia, a victory that secured him the Rookie of the Year title.
