His first win in Australia came in 2004 when winning the Australian Masters in Melbourne again in a playoff.
He has been eight times runner-up in European Tour events in addition to his victories. Green’s best finish in a major championship came at the Open Championship in 2007 when recording a round of 64 at the famed Carnoustie en-route to a 4th place finish behind Padraig Harrington.
Despite winding down his European Tour activities in recent times, Green has won more than A$16 million in Europe in his 23 years there. His partner, Marianne Skarpnord, is a successful player on the Ladies European Tour
