Thailand’s Poom Saksansin has been a professional since the age of 20 and is now becoming quite a force on the Asian Tour.
He has won three events there and been twice runner-up and in 2018 finished 13th on the Asian Tour’s Habitat for Humanity money list.
A win in Indonesia late in the 2018 season was recorded against a field which included the likes of Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson, further highlighting his standing in the game.
Saksansin, who now also has Japan Tour status, played the New Zealand Open in 2018 and 2019.
