A budding football (soccer) player in his teens, Nick Voke turned to golf and eventually attended Iowa State College in the US and was a key member of the golf team there, winning five college tournaments and assisting the side to some excellent results.
Voke turned professional soon after representing New Zealand at the Asia Pacific Amateur Championship in late 2017 and earned his PGA Tour of Australasia card for the 2018 season. In 2018 Voke finished 7th at the New Zealand Open and 3rd in an event on the Korean Tour before winning three events on the PGA Tour Series China.
That success earned him the right to play with limited Korn Ferry Tour access in 2019 where he has been unable to regain status but he will attend the final stage of qualifying in December in the knowledge that he has, at worst, access to some events on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2020.
