Mikumu Horikawa from Japan is a four-time winner on the Japan Golf Tour (JGTO) who remains one of the circuit’s most consistent performers. A graduate of Nihon University, Horikawa has claimed two of Japan’s major titles during his career: the Japan Golf Tour Championship Mori Building Cup (2019) and the Japan PGA Championship (2022).
Although he did not record a victory in the 2025 season, he produced a remarkable campaign defined by close calls in prestigious events. He finished as the runner-up three times: at the BMW Japan Golf Tour Championship Mori Building Cup, the Panasonic Open, and the Dunlop Phoenix Tournament. His ability to contend week-in and week-out earned him a 7th place finish on the 2025 JGTO Points Ranking, cementing his status as one of Japan’s elite players.
