Jye Pickin is an Australian pro from Newcastle, New South Wales, who has quickly established himself as a rising talent on the PGA Tour of Australasia. A former standout amateur who won the 2018 NSW Junior Championship and played collegiate golf at the College of Charleston in the US, Pickin turned professional in August 2024.
He made an immediate impact during his rookie season (2024/25), recording a career-best tied-4th finish at the Webex Players Series South Australia in October 2024 and a T8 at the Victorian PGA Championship shortly after. These strong performances helped him finish 39th on the Order of Merit in his debut season, securing his tour card.
In the current 2025/26 season, Pickin has continued to compete across the region and internationally. He recorded a tied-7th finish at the New Zealand PGA Championship in early 2025 and broadened his experience with a stint on the Challenge Tour in Europe, playing events in the UAE and Czech Republic. Closer to home, he claimed a professional victory at the Bankstown PGA Open Match in June 2025.
