Age: 31 years old Place of Birth: Victoria, Australia Turned Professional: 2017
James Marchesani is the son of former Fitzroy and Carlton footballer Frank Marchesani but it appears he is now making a name for himself in the professional golfing ranks.
After an impressive collegiate career at Oklahoma City University in the US, where he was named as one of the Jack Nicklaus Awards winners in addition to his many collegiate titles, Marchesani turned professional in 2017
and finished 10th at the Tour School to earn his card. He enjoyed a stellar rookie season finishing runner-up at the Fiji International, 10th in the Australian Open, 3rd at the Victorian PGA and late in the year won an event on the PGA Tour Series China.
His follow-up year was not quite so good but in 2019 he has again displayed some very good form in both China and in Australia.
