Haydn Barron is an Australian pro from Perth, Western Australia, who is currently celebrating the biggest achievement of his career. A former Rookie of the Year who played a season on the DP World Tour in 2024, Barron was forced to take a six-month medical leave in 2025 due to severe health issues. He has since returned to the PGA Tour of Australasia with incredible resilience.
His 2025/26 season reached its peak in February 2026, when he claimed his maiden tour victory at the Webex Players Series Murray River. Battling windy conditions and a strong field, Barron held his nerve to win by one stroke, an emotional triumph that he dedicated to the late Jarrod Lyle. This victory followed a string of impressive performances since his return, including a 3rd place finish at the Webex Players Series Perth in January 2026 and a T5 at the Webex Players Series Victoria. The win has vaulted him to 5th on the Order of Merit, placing him in prime position to regain his status on the European stage.
