Gunn Charoenkul is a consistent and highly respected Thai professional who has built a successful career across the Asian Tour and the Japan Golf Tour. Since turning professional in 2011, he has proven his ability to compete in diverse conditions, racking up multiple victories on the All Thailand Golf Tour and the PGA Tour China. These early successes were instrumental in helping him secure his place in larger international fields.

His career reached a new level of consistency in 2019 on the Japan Golf Tour. In a breakout season, Charoenkul recorded an impressive ten top-10 finishes, a run of form that propelled him to a career-high world ranking of 126th. This performance earned him a spot in his first major, The Open Championship at Royal Portrush, via the Mizuno Open Qualifying Series. He later achieved the honor of representing Thailand at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games alongside countryman Jazz Janewattananond.
