His career reached a new level of consistency in 2019 on the Japan Golf Tour. In a breakout season, Charoenkul recorded an impressive ten top-10 finishes, a run of form that propelled him to a career-high world ranking of 126th. This performance earned him a spot in his first major, The Open Championship at Royal Portrush, via the Mizuno Open Qualifying Series. He later achieved the honor of representing Thailand at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games alongside countryman Jazz Janewattananond.
