Connor McKinney is an Australian pro (born in Scotland) who has rapidly ascended the ranks to secure a place on the world stage. After moving to Perth with his family at age 13, he became a standout amateur, winning the 2022 Australian Amateur, before turning professional later that year.
His 2025/26 season has been a career-defining period. In November 2025, he successfully navigated the grueling DP World Tour Qualifying School in Spain, finishing 2nd to earn his full tour card for the 2026 European season. He celebrated this achievement by returning home to claim his maiden professional victory at the Webex Players Series Perth in January 2026, where he led wire-to-wire to win by four strokes. These results, combined with a runner-up finish at the Vic Open earlier in 2025, have cemented his status as one of Australia’s most exciting young exports.
