Cameron John is an Australian pro who has emerged as one of the dominant forces on the PGA Tour of Australasia during the 2025/26 season. A former top-ranked amateur, he claimed his breakthrough professional victory at The National Tournament in March 2024, holding off Daniel Gale to win by three strokes.
He elevated his game to a new level in late 2025 and early 2026. In November 2025, he won the Queensland PGA Championship in spectacular fashion, producing the “shot of the season”, a 6-iron from a muddy lie in the trees on the 71st hole that set up a pivotal eagle. He followed this up in January 2026 by winning the Vic Open, overcoming a five-shot deficit in the final round to claim his third tour title. These victories have placed him in prime position to secure a DP World Tour card for the following season.
