Quayle developed his golfing skills to the point where he would claim the Pacific North West Amateur Championship in the US and the Keperra Bowl Championships amongst his amateur victories.
After representing Australia at the Asia Pacific Amateur Championship in 2016, Quayle turned professional in early 2017 and experienced an impressive first season in the paid ranks with several top twenties and a 3rd place at the PNG Open, a tournament in which he finished runner-up as an amateur the previous year.
Quayle earned status for the Japan Tour late in 2017 and although he has yet to win on that tour in his two seasons to date, there have been several top tens including a best of runner-up at the Crowns Tournament in 2019.
Quayle would also finish runner-up at the 2018 Fiji International.
He recently earned his DP World Tour card for the 2026 season after a standout domestic campaign. A two-time winner on the PGA Tour of Australasia, Quayle claimed titles at the Queensland Open (2020) and Queensland PGA Championship (2022). He is perhaps best known globally for his impressive T15 finish at the 2022 Open Championship at St Andrews, where he played the weekend alongside major champions.
Standing at 6-foot-4, the powerful ball-striker spent several years contending on the Japan Golf Tour, recording multiple runner-up finishes. He enters the 2026 season in excellent form, having recorded three consecutive top-10 finishes during the Australian major swing in November 2025: a T10 at the NSW Open, a T10 at the Queensland PGA, and a T10 at the BMW Australian PGA Championship.
