Alex Simpson is an Australian probased in Sydney. A seasoned veteran of the domestic circuit, Simpson first made his mark by winning the 2007 Australian Trainee Professional Championship. While balancing his teaching duties with competitive play, he has enjoyed a resurgence in form during the 2025/26 season.
Simpson proved he can still compete with the tour’s best by recording a standout T17 finish at the 2025 Ford NSW Open, one of the premier events on the schedule. He also found the winner’s circle on the Adidas Pro-Am Series, claiming victory at the 2025 Better Homes Port Macquarie Pro-Am in August. His recent consistency, which includes making the cut at the Australian PGA Championship and a top-30 finish at the WA Open, has kept him ranked inside the top 75 on the Order of Merit.
