Japan’s Yuto Asaji captured the Moutai Singapore Open after a tense playoff against Jeunghun Wang, securing his third Asian Tour title and becoming the first Japanese player to win the event in nearly five decades. Both finished regulation play tied at 13-under-par, before Asaji rolled in a decisive six-foot birdie putt on the first extra hole at Singapore Island Country Club. The 30-year-old, who also plays on the Japan Golf Tour, described the victory as a major confidence boost as he continues to balance his career across both tours.
