DAY TWO UPDATE 5.30PM

Teenager Joohyung Kim from Korea has claimed the late lead on a windy afternoon on day two of the New Zealand Open, presented by Sky Sport.

Kim, 17, who led overnight, has moved to 11-under par and four-under par today at The Hills with four holes to play.

He has a one shot lead on Ben Eccles from Australia who fired a four-under 68 today at The Hills to hold the clubhouse lead on 10-under.

Two players Pavit Tangkamolprasert from Thailand and Australian Lucas Herbert share third place, on nine-under with the Thai player firing an eight-under 64 at The Hills this morning in the calm conditions.

There is interest at the other end of the field with kiwi Ryan Fox at one-over par with four holes remaining with the cut line for the top 60 players and ties at even par with the weather clearing from morning showers but the wind now strong for the late finishers.
