DAY THREE UPDATE 2.15PM

US Open winner Geoff Ogilvy turned back the clock with a five-under par 66 to take the clubhouse lead of the early scorers on the third round of the New Zealand Open, presented by Sky Sport.

Ogilvy jumped to a share of 12th place on six-under par through 54 holes at Millbrook Resort near Queenstown.

A number of players are five-under today on the course today including Japan’s Mikumu Horikawa who has moved to eight-under for the tournament in a share of sixth place, along with 2017 winner Michael Hendry, who is the leading kiwi at present, through four holes of his third round.

Korea’s Joohung Kim still holds a one shot lead on 11-under ahead of Australian Ben Eccles, who has been joined by Lucas Herbert on 10-under.
