Amateur entrants in the New Zealand Pro-Am acknowledge that they comply with the Rules of Amateur Status.
In the event of a tie for any final place in the New Zealand Pro-Am Championship the standard countback rules as set by the tournament committee will be applied to determine final positions. These are in line with below, save that the fourth-round scores will apply.
With respect to the 36 hole New Zealand Pro-Am Championship team cut the following count-back will apply (in descending order) until such time as the results are certain:
- A team nett score based on the Pro-Am team score for the 18 holes that constitute the second round of the tournament (irrespective of which course that team played the second round at).
- A team nett score based on the Pro-Am team score for a combination of holes 10-18 for the second round (irrespective of which course that team played the second round at).
- A team nett score based on the Pro-Am team score for a combination of holes 13-18 for the second round (irrespective of which course that team played the second round at).
- A team nett score based on the Pro-Am team score for a combination of holes 16-18 for the second round (irrespective of which course that team played the second round at).
- The toss of a coin.
With respect to the 54-hole New Zealand Pro-Am Championship team cut the following countback will apply (in descending order):
- an aggregate score based on the Pro-Am team score for the 18 holes that constitute the third round of the tournament.
- An aggregate score based on the Pro-Am team score for a combination of holes 10-18 for the 3rd round.
- An aggregate score based on the Pro-Am team score for a combination of holes 13-18 for the 3rd round.
- An aggregate score based on the Pro-Am team score for a combination of holes 16-18 for the 3rd round.
- The toss of a coin
